best adherence to a white supremacist system, you know, that's a system that's
meant to crush and destroy, you know, everyone that looks that looks and is
different, you know, so that's a great example of it.
Yeah.
But yeah, breaking news, some good news from national students for just in
Palestine.
You see Berkeley students have officially established an encampment to protest
the institution's complicity in genocide.
Let's go.
That's great stuff.
Yeah, Berkeley.
I was just there.
All right.
Now let's get back to US considering sanctioning some members of the IDF.
Oh, no.
At least for Palestinians in the West Bank went on a general strike yesterday
to protest a deadly Israeli raid on a refugee camp over the weekend.
Meanwhile, the US is considering unprecedented steps here, potentially sanction
ing some members of the Israeli military for alleged human rights violations
before this recent war, the states back to 2022.
And there's been a new attack on Jewish civilians in Jerusalem.
All comes back to security.
Deborah Padda has our story.
Security cameras caught the moment a car plowed into three ultra orthodox
pedestrians in Jerusalem this morning.
Two young men then attempt to open fire, but their weapons jam.
Nobody was seriously injured.
And police say they've erased two Palestinians in connection with the attack.
The incident comes as Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has lashed out over
reports of possible US sanctions against an Israel Defense Force battalion
accused of human rights abuses in the West Bank.
If anyone thinks they can impose sanctions on an IDF unit said Netanyahu, I
will fight it with all my strength.
This Israeli military footage shows soldiers in the West Bank city of Tulkarim
over the weekend, which the IDF says was a counter-terrorism operation that
killed 14 militants.
But residents say they bore the brunt of the assault.
After the IDF pulled out, this is what they left in their wake. This massive
destruction. And residents here say they've seen nothing like this before.
During the mission, Israeli bulldozers smashed through homes and shops, tore up
roads, severed pumps and power lines, cutting off electricity and water.
The attack was wild, said Salah Yusuf. They came from four different sides. In
Gaza, where the war grinds on, nearly 15,000 children have been killed with
more over the weekend.
A US official has told CBS News they've been investigating an IDF unit made up
of ultra-orthodox soldiers since 2022.
In January of that year, the battalion came under heavy criticism after an
elderly American man was found dead after being detained by IDF soldiers at a
checkpoint in the West Bank.
Oh, so that's the rub. I missed that before. I didn't realize that he was
American.
Oh, no, yeah. They killed a house in America. And yet, they still were like, Oh
, well, you know, we should.
We shouldn't conduct too much of an investigation. Right. But the fact that
there was an investigation at all. I was confused. Okay.
Now I understand why.
Yeah, it's just, it's one squad. And, you know, it's still too much.
Today, class has moved online for students at Columbia, the university
president, saying. All right, we covered enough of this. All right, let's see
what the fucking Fox News is saying about this.
Okay. Wait, she's leaving too late. She left me. She's done with your shit.
He's on the move.
No, this isn't Gaza. This is Yale Fox News alert right now. You're looking live
. No, this isn't Gaza. This is Yale. Yeah, we know it's not Gaza dumbass.
They're standing like, Oh, wow. That's crazy.
Only in Gaza do people say you're on the wrong side of history.
At the campus of Yale University, where police are swarming the campus, they
are chanting right now, as you hear, there's been hundreds of students
protesting Israel at Yale.
And Israel protests play colleges and universities across the country, all
while Jewish communities begin to celebrate Passover. Our next guest witnessed
the anarchy firsthand on Columbia University's campus.
They push today's class classes online. They say for their safety. One was
nearly burned after a protest to lead his American flag on fire here discussing
our university students, Alicia Baker and Andrew Parker Stein.
Andrew, it was you Saturday night, right? What happened?
So basically, a bunch of Jewish students came to campus to respond to the
encampment. We just sang songs of peace. On the way out, a pro Hamas mob
started chasing us, calling us in the middle of campus, calling us in bread
that we have no culture.
One of them grabbed my friend's Israeli flag in the middle of campus, carried
it to a mob by the gate that we're communicating with the angry mobs outside of
campus.
They threw hard objects at him. They started harassing him. They tried to light
his flag on fire, and nothing is done with this.
And after that, on the way out, we were talking to public safety. They started
following us on the way out, and public safety just shrugged their soldiers.
Isn't it funny how any time someone's interview about how violent these
protesters are, always someone who almost was hurt? Yeah.
Well, because they keep killing all the people over and over again. So many
deaths have happened in these protests, like so many people have been killed.
These guys are brave enough to speak out against the death and destruction that
these pro-Palestinian protesters are bringing about college campuses.
They're the ones who are responsible in protecting us, and the only protection
that we had was we have one student who's a six-five student, and everyone hid
behind him as we were leaving campus.
And an angry mob of pro Hamas students chased us off of campus, screaming, "We
don't want no Zionists here. Get out of here."
And these are dudes. So I liked it. I mean, dude, he should have amplified it a
little bit. He didn't even say anything that's anti-semitic.
Like, what the fuck? They just said, "Yeah, we don't want Zionists on campus,
okay."
Like, what? That's no good. That's just, that's enough.
There's tons of video of that not happening. No video of that happening. Yeah,
but like even the imagined, like, wrong doing that occurred here is like not
meeting the bar of, of like, I can't believe they said fuck Israel.
No way, dude. No way. I can't believe they said that. That's really fucked up.
I'm so sorry. Are you okay? Are you going to be okay? It seems like you're okay
.
Fox News crying about it, but that's a great question. This is the most
shocking thing on campus right now. We have video proof of people sneaking into
campus.
The encampment themselves are bragging about the fact that many aren't students
. And so we don't know if they're students, likely they're students. They might
not be students, and Columbia's doing nothing about the fact.
Unbelievable. They just shut down school. Alicia, what's your experience? I
mean, look, we've been calling this out for six months now.
We know that these are anti-Semites using anti-Semitic groups. Since the
October 7th attack, since the first set of protests on October 12th.
And now we see what happens when you don't shut down anti-Semitic rhetoric and
you allow these people to feel entitled, you know, there were some arrests on
Thursday. That was great. I commend the university for doing that. Guess what?
Yeah. Yeah, yeah. I thought you said October 7th didn't happen on October 9th.
I was like, what the fuck? I didn't say that. It's crazy that you said that.
I didn't say that. G bit of all been avoided by anti-bullying policies. Just
like you can avoid the top of the hour ad break with the anti top of the hour
ad break policy, which is called subscribing for $5 or for free will to try.
Yeah. That's right. We love ad breaks. Yeah. Don't leave folks. You can also
get gift to the sub. If you're lucky, here's a three minute ad break now.
Damn. He's treating you. It's funny. It looks like this cop is burning. No, it
looks like this cop is burning the American flag. Yo, sick. My man.
He's like, I'm done. I'm saying the Shahada. I'm burning the American flag. I'm
putting my badge down. I'm gonna no longer be a cop. I'm gonna do social
justice.
That would go hard. 34. I'm Katie 50. They give us a 50. Give yourselves. Yeah.
No longer am I a cab.
They walked 20 yards to their left. They do the exact same thing on the other
lawn. And they've been there since Thursday. And now they're harassing us. They
're yelling, go back to Poland. You know,
when they say we don't want no Zionists here and death to the Zionist state,
you know, what's the game plan? Where should we go? Right. Now they're saying,
go back.
Where are you right now, bro? Where are you right now? What are you saying?
What the fuck are you saying? You literally, first of all, go back to Poland
really fucked up.
Not because it invokes potentially like Auschwitz and the Holocaust, but just
like no one should go there. You know what I mean? Like you, that's not.
That's not. That's a death worst. That's a faith worse than death. I've never
been. My dad went in the 70s and he got scared. He left.
Said he was scared. Okay, we should get my dad on stream. I'm down.
But it is. It is funny to me. It is funny to me that they're like, where should
we go? It's like, bro, you literally grew up here.
You're like, what are you saying? It's like, yeah, I grew up in Connecticut.
Where should I go?
I go back to Greenwich. Yeah, like, what do you mean? What are you saying? You
're an American citizen dumbass. Shut the fuck up.
Back to Poland. We all know what happened last time the Jews were in Poland.
Well, you shouldn't go anywhere.
Damn, it's based. Don't go to Israel. You should just stay here. Chill. Poland
is kind of catching straight is right now.
Yeah, always on this broadcast permanently. They get so mad when they fire up
the one computer in Poland.
And then they see all the things I had to say on the r slash Poland subreddit.
But you don't feel safe on campus. Absolutely not. And there's no, and there's
really been no enforcement of policy.
And the problem is that public safety is unable to really step in when there
are problems. Are they armed? I mean, are they capable of doing anything Andrew
?
I think that's the NYPD, literally the NYPD, who you can never rely on, never
trust is going to lie to you, plant the gun on you, whatever.
They even were like, yeah, these kids were not so bad. Yeah. Yeah, it was fine.
We didn't even come as well, bro.
Yeah, the IDF trained NYPD, which is a station in fucking Tel Aviv. Yeah.
The third largest standing military on the planet, the NYPD.
The most concerning part. People have been saying for a while now that they don
't feel safe. And a lot of that had to do with the rhetoric.
But I want to be clear. Now, this has now gotten into physical safety. I no
longer feel physically safe on my camera.
I'm sorry. It's so fucking stupid.
