[0:00] best adherence to a white supremacist system, you know, that's a system that's [0:06] meant to crush and destroy, you know, everyone that looks that looks and is [0:12] different, you know, so that's a great example of it. [0:17] Yeah. [0:19] But yeah, breaking news, some good news from national students for just in [0:25] Palestine. [0:26] You see Berkeley students have officially established an encampment to protest [0:29] the institution's complicity in genocide. [0:31] Let's go. [0:32] That's great stuff. [0:34] Yeah, Berkeley. [0:35] I was just there. [0:37] All right. [0:38] Now let's get back to US considering sanctioning some members of the IDF. [0:41] Oh, no. [0:42] At least for Palestinians in the West Bank went on a general strike yesterday [0:46] to protest a deadly Israeli raid on a refugee camp over the weekend. [0:49] Meanwhile, the US is considering unprecedented steps here, potentially sanction [0:53] ing some members of the Israeli military for alleged human rights violations [0:57] before this recent war, the states back to 2022. [1:00] And there's been a new attack on Jewish civilians in Jerusalem. [1:04] All comes back to security. [1:05] Deborah Padda has our story. [1:07] Security cameras caught the moment a car plowed into three ultra orthodox [1:12] pedestrians in Jerusalem this morning. [1:15] Two young men then attempt to open fire, but their weapons jam. [1:19] Nobody was seriously injured. [1:21] And police say they've erased two Palestinians in connection with the attack. [1:26] The incident comes as Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has lashed out over [1:31] reports of possible US sanctions against an Israel Defense Force battalion [1:37] accused of human rights abuses in the West Bank. [1:40] If anyone thinks they can impose sanctions on an IDF unit said Netanyahu, I [1:46] will fight it with all my strength. [1:48] This Israeli military footage shows soldiers in the West Bank city of Tulkarim [1:53] over the weekend, which the IDF says was a counter-terrorism operation that [1:58] killed 14 militants. [2:00] But residents say they bore the brunt of the assault. [2:04] After the IDF pulled out, this is what they left in their wake. This massive [2:09] destruction. And residents here say they've seen nothing like this before. [2:15] During the mission, Israeli bulldozers smashed through homes and shops, tore up [2:20] roads, severed pumps and power lines, cutting off electricity and water. [2:25] The attack was wild, said Salah Yusuf. They came from four different sides. In [2:31] Gaza, where the war grinds on, nearly 15,000 children have been killed with [2:37] more over the weekend. [2:39] A US official has told CBS News they've been investigating an IDF unit made up [2:44] of ultra-orthodox soldiers since 2022. [2:49] In January of that year, the battalion came under heavy criticism after an [2:53] elderly American man was found dead after being detained by IDF soldiers at a [2:58] checkpoint in the West Bank. [3:00] Oh, so that's the rub. I missed that before. I didn't realize that he was [3:04] American. [3:05] Oh, no, yeah. They killed a house in America. And yet, they still were like, Oh [3:10] , well, you know, we should. [3:12] We shouldn't conduct too much of an investigation. Right. But the fact that [3:15] there was an investigation at all. I was confused. Okay. [3:19] Now I understand why. [3:22] Yeah, it's just, it's one squad. And, you know, it's still too much. [3:26] Today, class has moved online for students at Columbia, the university [3:29] president, saying. All right, we covered enough of this. All right, let's see [3:33] what the fucking Fox News is saying about this. [3:37] Okay. Wait, she's leaving too late. She left me. She's done with your shit. [3:45] He's on the move. [3:48] No, this isn't Gaza. This is Yale Fox News alert right now. You're looking live [4:08] . No, this isn't Gaza. This is Yale. Yeah, we know it's not Gaza dumbass. [4:13] They're standing like, Oh, wow. That's crazy. [4:20] Only in Gaza do people say you're on the wrong side of history. [4:24] At the campus of Yale University, where police are swarming the campus, they [4:28] are chanting right now, as you hear, there's been hundreds of students [4:33] protesting Israel at Yale. [4:35] And Israel protests play colleges and universities across the country, all [4:38] while Jewish communities begin to celebrate Passover. Our next guest witnessed [4:43] the anarchy firsthand on Columbia University's campus. [4:46] They push today's class classes online. They say for their safety. One was [4:50] nearly burned after a protest to lead his American flag on fire here discussing [4:55] our university students, Alicia Baker and Andrew Parker Stein. [5:00] Andrew, it was you Saturday night, right? What happened? [5:04] So basically, a bunch of Jewish students came to campus to respond to the [5:08] encampment. We just sang songs of peace. On the way out, a pro Hamas mob [5:12] started chasing us, calling us in the middle of campus, calling us in bread [5:18] that we have no culture. [5:19] One of them grabbed my friend's Israeli flag in the middle of campus, carried [5:22] it to a mob by the gate that we're communicating with the angry mobs outside of [5:26] campus. [5:27] They threw hard objects at him. They started harassing him. They tried to light [5:31] his flag on fire, and nothing is done with this. [5:34] And after that, on the way out, we were talking to public safety. They started [5:37] following us on the way out, and public safety just shrugged their soldiers. [5:42] Isn't it funny how any time someone's interview about how violent these [5:45] protesters are, always someone who almost was hurt? Yeah. [5:48] Well, because they keep killing all the people over and over again. So many [5:52] deaths have happened in these protests, like so many people have been killed. [5:56] These guys are brave enough to speak out against the death and destruction that [5:59] these pro-Palestinian protesters are bringing about college campuses. [6:03] They're the ones who are responsible in protecting us, and the only protection [6:07] that we had was we have one student who's a six-five student, and everyone hid [6:11] behind him as we were leaving campus. [6:13] And an angry mob of pro Hamas students chased us off of campus, screaming, "We [6:17] don't want no Zionists here. Get out of here." [6:20] And these are dudes. So I liked it. I mean, dude, he should have amplified it a [6:29] little bit. He didn't even say anything that's anti-semitic. [6:32] Like, what the fuck? They just said, "Yeah, we don't want Zionists on campus, [6:36] okay." [6:37] Like, what? That's no good. That's just, that's enough. [6:42] There's tons of video of that not happening. No video of that happening. Yeah, [6:47] but like even the imagined, like, wrong doing that occurred here is like not [6:55] meeting the bar of, of like, I can't believe they said fuck Israel. [7:00] No way, dude. No way. I can't believe they said that. That's really fucked up. [7:04] I'm so sorry. Are you okay? Are you going to be okay? It seems like you're okay [7:09] . [7:09] Fox News crying about it, but that's a great question. This is the most [7:12] shocking thing on campus right now. We have video proof of people sneaking into [7:16] campus. [7:18] The encampment themselves are bragging about the fact that many aren't students [7:21] . And so we don't know if they're students, likely they're students. They might [7:25] not be students, and Columbia's doing nothing about the fact. [7:28] Unbelievable. They just shut down school. Alicia, what's your experience? I [7:31] mean, look, we've been calling this out for six months now. [7:35] We know that these are anti-Semites using anti-Semitic groups. Since the [7:38] October 7th attack, since the first set of protests on October 12th. [7:43] And now we see what happens when you don't shut down anti-Semitic rhetoric and [7:46] you allow these people to feel entitled, you know, there were some arrests on [7:50] Thursday. That was great. I commend the university for doing that. Guess what? [7:55] Yeah. Yeah, yeah. I thought you said October 7th didn't happen on October 9th. [8:08] I was like, what the fuck? I didn't say that. It's crazy that you said that. [8:08] I didn't say that. G bit of all been avoided by anti-bullying policies. Just [8:19] like you can avoid the top of the hour ad break with the anti top of the hour [8:19] ad break policy, which is called subscribing for $5 or for free will to try. [8:24] Yeah. That's right. We love ad breaks. Yeah. Don't leave folks. You can also [8:32] get gift to the sub. If you're lucky, here's a three minute ad break now. [8:37] Damn. He's treating you. It's funny. It looks like this cop is burning. No, it [8:42] looks like this cop is burning the American flag. Yo, sick. My man. [8:48] He's like, I'm done. I'm saying the Shahada. I'm burning the American flag. I'm [8:53] putting my badge down. I'm gonna no longer be a cop. I'm gonna do social [8:58] justice. [8:59] That would go hard. 34. I'm Katie 50. They give us a 50. Give yourselves. Yeah. [9:05] No longer am I a cab. [9:07] They walked 20 yards to their left. They do the exact same thing on the other [9:10] lawn. And they've been there since Thursday. And now they're harassing us. They [9:14] 're yelling, go back to Poland. You know, [9:16] when they say we don't want no Zionists here and death to the Zionist state, [9:20] you know, what's the game plan? Where should we go? Right. Now they're saying, [9:23] go back. [9:24] Where are you right now, bro? Where are you right now? What are you saying? [9:29] What the fuck are you saying? You literally, first of all, go back to Poland [9:34] really fucked up. [9:36] Not because it invokes potentially like Auschwitz and the Holocaust, but just [9:41] like no one should go there. You know what I mean? Like you, that's not. [9:45] That's not. That's a death worst. That's a faith worse than death. I've never [9:49] been. My dad went in the 70s and he got scared. He left. [9:58] Said he was scared. Okay, we should get my dad on stream. I'm down. [10:03] But it is. It is funny to me. It is funny to me that they're like, where should [10:07] we go? It's like, bro, you literally grew up here. [10:11] You're like, what are you saying? It's like, yeah, I grew up in Connecticut. [10:16] Where should I go? [10:18] I go back to Greenwich. Yeah, like, what do you mean? What are you saying? You [10:23] 're an American citizen dumbass. Shut the fuck up. [10:27] Back to Poland. We all know what happened last time the Jews were in Poland. [10:31] Well, you shouldn't go anywhere. [10:32] Damn, it's based. Don't go to Israel. You should just stay here. Chill. Poland [10:41] is kind of catching straight is right now. [10:45] Yeah, always on this broadcast permanently. They get so mad when they fire up [10:50] the one computer in Poland. [10:52] And then they see all the things I had to say on the r slash Poland subreddit. [11:02] But you don't feel safe on campus. Absolutely not. And there's no, and there's [11:05] really been no enforcement of policy. [11:09] And the problem is that public safety is unable to really step in when there [11:13] are problems. Are they armed? I mean, are they capable of doing anything Andrew [11:18] ? [11:18] I think that's the NYPD, literally the NYPD, who you can never rely on, never [11:25] trust is going to lie to you, plant the gun on you, whatever. [11:29] They even were like, yeah, these kids were not so bad. Yeah. Yeah, it was fine. [11:33] We didn't even come as well, bro. [11:37] Yeah, the IDF trained NYPD, which is a station in fucking Tel Aviv. Yeah. [11:43] The third largest standing military on the planet, the NYPD. [11:47] The most concerning part. People have been saying for a while now that they don [11:51] 't feel safe. And a lot of that had to do with the rhetoric. [11:53] But I want to be clear. Now, this has now gotten into physical safety. I no [11:57] longer feel physically safe on my camera. [12:00] I'm sorry. It's so fucking stupid.
