Leander, letter for his approach.
You say Israel, obviously, is a key U.S. partner.
Is Netanyahu a good U.S. partner?
- Well, that's why we drew that distinction
between the state of Israel and the Israeli people
and Prime Minister Netanyahu,
which I think is a really important distinction
to draw here.
I do not have confidence that he'd be Netanyahu
is doing the right thing by Israelis.
He, I think, failed Israelis on October 7th.
I mean, listen, just earlier this year,
20% of Israelis, you know,
a fifth of the country of Israel
was out on the street protesting the Netanyahu government
in some of its more extreme policies.
And then you have what is potentially
their greatest intelligence failure
in a generation and military failure
in a generation on October 7th.
So I don't think he has served the Israeli people well.
And that's why we have been very clear
that we don't think this military strategy.
- Damn, dog, we went from all Jews are Israel
and Israel is all Jews, which is what Zionists say,
to not even all Jews, but like Israelis
also don't even like the Netanyahu administration,
which is true.
When you start looking for finger pointing like this,
I think the attitude shifted somewhere along the line.
The attitude shifted dramatically, okay?
This spells a change.
That's all I'm saying.
These guys literally were like Israel, what?
What's going on?
What's, what is she doing?
What's going on?
Israel's all about Jews are criticizing Israel's
criticized Jews so far, despicable.
No, I'm just, no, I'm, Kaya, come here, what happened?
What'd she do?
Oh, gosh, she's so wet again.
No, she's just ran outside to pee.
So what I'm trying to say is
we moved, the mainstream conversation
is moved dramatically from, you cannot criticize Israel,
that is anti-Semitic, to actually we are criticizing Israel,
and we're separating the Israeli government
from the Israeli population.
They're looking for an out.
They're giving people
the moral permission to actually criticize Israel's actions.
This is a good thing.
This is a move in the right direction
if you are a fan of ending this conflict as quickly as possible.
Someone needs to be held responsible
and they're saying like, no, no, no, it's okay.
You can criticize Netanyahu now.
Hang on.
All right, we're moving on from this.
An Israeli real estate company has ran ads
for pre-sale lots in Gaza.
They said it was meant to be a joke
and a sort of satirical idea.
It also caused an international scandal.
So the limit for warnings was 20K death,
limits for action for what the US 40K 50K.
What is this Saudi Arabia?
Interesting, Lamont article suggesting Saudi Arabia
draft of the proposal for the day after in Gaza
that was shown in the French Foreign Ministry.
The plan that was see Hamas military leadership
deported to Algeria, the creation of a UN-mandated
Arab Peace Force, are in the setting up
of a four year long transitional authority
based on various Palestinian factions,
Fatah Hamas and the Islamic Jihad.
I don't think we're there yet,
but Israel sure is opposed to the last part,
but still a notable proposal.
Yeah, I don't even know how we get there.
Like we are not there yet.
Oh, also here is a video that came out
of how Hamas produces their own
mother fucking sniper rifle.
(dramatic music)
Called the Khosam Ghoul sniper rifle,
which is deriving the Iranian AM-50 Sayyad.
(dramatic music)
(dramatic music)
These motherfuckers are making artisanal
bathtub sniper rifles, man.
That's crazy.
(dramatic music)
(dramatic music)
(dramatic music)
Is that the, is that cod?
(dramatic music)
(dramatic music)
(dramatic music)
(dramatic music)
(dramatic music)
(dramatic music)
(dramatic music)
(dramatic music)
(dramatic music)
That's crazy.
It's basically like the YouTube videos I watch regularly,
but they aren't making guns usually,
but the machinery, wow, so good,
genuinely impressed, not necessarily in good way,
by what Hamas has been capable of.
(dramatic music)
Mechanical engineer here to make an entire sniper rifle
on a 1940s manual lathe is insane levels
of work and precision, incredible.
(clears throat)
This, we will continue killing your soldiers
by our locally manufactured snipers.
Wow, there's a little message
for the Americans out there as well.
They're saying like artisanal snipers.
So, why am I showing you this?
Okay.
The reason why I'm showing you this
is because one thing that the Israeli maintenance
of the apartheid has shown us is that
there are no half measures on genocide.
Okay.
You either got to hit the full gen, okay?
You can't do half genocide, a little bit of displacement
and then continue maintaining an apartheid state
and maintaining an occupation, okay?
Which is basically what America did back in the day
when we were building America, manifest destiny, right?
And the problem with Israel is that they're trying to do that
in, they're trying to do that with half measures since 1948.
And that's the issue.
This is also why it is ridiculous to be like,
oh, we should do the blockade.
Like this is a demonstration of the blockade doesn't work.
But why do you have it to begin with?
Does that make sense?
It's very clear that the blockade has been an abject failure
on top of everything else.
Because when there's a will, there's a way.
People are going to find a way to resist being killed,
being murdered.
You know what I mean?
Are you saying there should go full genocide?
No, I'm saying they should not do genocide.
I think that that much is clear to everyone
with a fucking brain cell.
Why the fuck would I say they should go do full genocide?
I am anti-genocide.
Let's go back to now to Texas heading for a showdown
with the federal government over its new state law,
the situation leading to the highest number of migrants
apprehended at the border in decades.
Maria Villreal is on the scene in Eagle Pass, Texas.
Good morning, Maria.
Hey, good morning, Michael.
If you take a look over my right hand shoulder,
you can actually see hundreds of migrants waking up right now.
This is where they slept.
Yeah, we got our own fucking migrant pit.
You know what I mean?
Yeah, when you look at images like this,
you know, it puts the Israeli treatment of Palestinians
in the perspective a little bit.
Left overnight, the temperatures dip down into the 40s.
Some of them tell me all they had were the clothes
on their back and these foil blankets
that really did not keep them warm overnight.
Right now, CBP agents are telling me
they are absolutely overwhelmed by situations like this.
This morning, U.S. Customs and Border Protection
facing a record number of migrant encounters,
including 11,000 apprehensions Monday,
the highest single day total in at least 20 years.
Drone footage showing hundreds lining up in Eagle Pass, Texas,
some migrants seen with emergency blankets
as they brave the winter elements.
This comes as civil rights groups mount a legal challenge
to Texas bill SB 4 signed into law by Governor Greg Abbott,
which gives state officials the right to arrest,
prosecute and deport anyone illegally crossing
the U.S.-Mexico border into Texas.
Critics say it will lead to racial discrimination.
It will impact our communities.
It will impact our community safety.
It will separate families.
And that is just a reality that we cannot abide by.
Meanwhile, in an effort to slow crossings
and reallocate resources to processing migrants,
CBP has recently closed a number
of Border Patrol entry points.
Congress is set to leave for holiday break in just a few days
and they have not made any sort of compromise
on funding for border security,
leaving people here on the ground, the agents
and the local leaders to really have.
Isn't the immigration crisis a primary cause for fentanyl
coming to the U.S. in such epidemic levels?
Kind of reminds me of the whole war on drug stuff from Reagan.
First of all, the immigration crisis has nothing to do
with fentanyl coming into the United States of America.
That's just simply a lie that the reactionary right
has fed over and over again.
This is like my wheelhouse.
This is my specialty, I guess.
I haven't really talked about this as much,
but 97% of the drugs that are.
