[0:04] Like I thought we were living in a consistent time where there was, like, [0:07] with deep protection of the night, so there was no tension in Palestine. [0:10] Truth is, whatever, whoever the box allowed us, right, wins that. [0:15] But then there was that pushback for, like, you fucking see what's happening [0:19] as food is being attempted to be brought into Palestine and what's happening [0:23] there. [0:24] Those images push back against that and do show what reality is. [0:28] I'm wondering if you could talk to what it is pushed back against this, [0:32] to show what the truth is in a world that is, like, shouting in the other [0:37] direction. [0:38] I don't know who it is. [0:40] Well, you could have broken record, but this is why you're trying to censor it [0:45] in that, right? [0:46] Like, this is why TikTok fans, we had Representative Warner and Gallagher come [0:51] out [0:52] earlier this year from the US Security Conference and say, [0:55] this is why we banned TikTok over Israel, over the, you know, in the, you know, [0:59] Israel speech on air. [1:01] So, I think that, you know, there isn't. [1:04] As to some of the time, it is a massive propaganda machine on all these issues, [1:08] on immigration, on Palestine, on public health, on native, right, like, it's, [1:13] it's other. [1:14] And the mainstream media is very complicit in that. [1:16] I think everyone has woken up and seen what the New York Times prints versus [1:21] what's actually happened. [1:22] And you can see it clearer than ever. You're talking about why Mom's getting [1:24] ratified, [1:25] that I know that my mother has no social media but an Instagram account, [1:28] and has been completely radicalized by it, that I've seen these in it. [1:32] But I think it's just why it's so important for us to support independent [1:39] journalism [1:40] and to protect free speech online and protect the ability for, for us to be [1:46] true to power [1:47] and leverage the internet to do that. Because the internet is the most powerful [1:52] tool [1:52] that we have ever seen in terms of activism, in terms of organizing, you know, [1:57] we can, [1:57] we can weaponize it for good, the way that the right weaponizes it for really [2:00] atrocious stuff. [2:02] So, we just, we have to do, not to be the tech policy person, but we have to [2:07] protect free speech online. [2:08] And that is something that, that no one in the Democratic Party is doing, and, [2:13] obviously, we're going to do that. [2:15] [ Cheering and Applause ] [2:19] These are crazy. They just kept talking about, you know, cancel culture and how [2:24] the left is too woke [2:25] on college campuses and all this stuff. And they're like, "You've got to let [2:29] Nazis speak. [2:31] You have to let them just get out. I'll literally kill myself. [2:34] If you don't let my lawyer accomplish, come to the college campus and, and [2:38] speak." [2:39] And all of a sudden, lo and behold, you've got Colombia [2:42] capitulating to the Trump administration. [2:45] [ Cheering and Applause ] [2:47] And, and giving a $200 million in return for $400 million in grants. [2:52] And it's, it's identical to a story that I keep repeating. [2:56] I know many of you probably watched me on stream as well as we probably heard [2:59] this a million times over. [3:00] I'm going to repeat the same story. But, like, one of the first things in, in [3:04] 1933, [3:05] the Nazi government did was to go after private institutions of higher learning [3:10] , [3:10] and they went to the Frankfurt School. [3:13] And they had a new chancellor that was basically the Nazi Germany version [3:19] of an academic receivership where is what Colombia is doing right now [3:24] with the new provost that's going to be in charge of our release and studies [3:27] program. [3:28] And they had this long, they had this long meeting where they're like, [3:32] "None of the Jews are allowed on campus anymore." [3:35] And, and everyone was like, "Okay, I guess that's the case now." [3:38] And one of the liberal academics that often said, [3:42] "Well, this was, this has been an enlightening conversation and quite a little [3:47] bit." [3:48] But, what about our grants for the physiology department? [3:54] And that's precisely what, what took place in Colombia University this past [3:58] week, [3:59] where I saw the, the new president go on CNN and talk about how like, [4:05] "Well, this is a battle that we actually won because we're still getting our [4:08] grants." [4:09] And, and meanwhile, you got Vince McMahon's wife, [4:12] who is now the fucking education secretary for some reason. [4:16] On, on Fox News, talking about how Colombia is just the beginning. [4:23] All of these things that we talked about in terms of the project that's there, [4:26] in terms of the project 2025, the Trump administration is implementing step by [4:30] step. [4:31] They've given us their blueprint, they've given us exactly what they're going [4:34] to do [4:35] and how they're going to do it. [4:37] So, I think it's incredibly important to continue organizing against these [4:41] initiatives [4:42] and to make a big fuss wherever you can. [4:46] And that doesn't just mean going on in protest and engaging in direct action. [4:50] But I also mean, you know, [4:53] pissing off your democratic representatives and trying to get them to also take [4:58] action. [4:59] [Applause] [5:01] You know, the reason why I'm saying this is not because contrary to popular [5:05] opinion, [5:06] I'll take talk, or I'm like, left this on Twitter. [5:08] I'm not a shepherd for the Democratic Party. [5:11] I don't even want to talk about the Democratic Party, but they are our [5:15] representatives. [5:17] And they're supposed to represent us, and they do have a platform, [5:21] and the media does listen to them. [5:23] So, we have to wield them like a weapon to the best of our ability. [5:29] We have to use them to also continue yelling about these things that we care [5:34] about. [5:35] Because after the 700 phone message they have to respond to, [5:41] they're inevitably like, "All right, I guess people do care about this issue." [5:44] Maybe I have to make a statement about it. [5:46] And before you know it, the dam will break. [5:49] Before you know it, I know it seems impossible. [5:52] I know it seems like change is not coming fast enough. [5:55] And I totally understand that because we have real lives on the line. [5:59] Every day that goes by without any sort of serious opposition, [6:03] you have another family being ripped apart, right, with ice rays. [6:07] But if you're not doing it for the immediate and the should save today, [6:13] you're doing it for the hundreds of others that you could potentially save [6:16] tomorrow. [6:17] So, that's something you have to do about it. [6:21] So, it doesn't matter. [6:23] Even if you think you might get an unlikely ally, [6:26] or even if you say to these people, don't have your best fingers in mind, [6:29] they definitely don't, okay? [6:31] Let's be real. [6:32] You have to become undeniable. [6:35] You have to become unavoidable. [6:37] You have to become a force to be reckoned with. [6:40] You have to make them meet your demands. [6:43] So, I hope that you guys can keep protesting [6:46] and continue to make a big stake to the best of your ability. [6:49] [CHEERING AND APPLAUSE] [6:52] I could keep going like we have any time not to get on with. [6:56] I've just been going to like a little wine because I can't hope you all like. [7:00] Thank you both for coming. [7:02] Just like really quickly, this night of comedy and music and DJ and everything, [7:06] is like a final party word that you want to say before we disappear off into [7:10] the rest of the night. [7:13] Well, I'll just say, I appreciate everyone being outside. [7:16] There is a horrible new COVID variant going around, [7:19] but it's called "Grace Your Way of Growth." [7:21] So, I just -- [7:22] [CHEERING AND APPLAUSE] [7:24] We're hoping to still very much your public health is being absolutely gutted [7:29] under RK. [7:30] We're seeing diseases that have, like, one way in the 1800s come back. [7:34] So, you know, when you're at -- [7:36] and also they're seeing a procedure also trying to, you know, [7:39] make masking at protests illegal, you know, remove masking, basically, at any [7:43] point. [7:44] So, I think it's really important to wear a mask as much as you can. [7:47] You know, I know you're not going to have it on 24/7, [7:50] as much as you can. [7:51] Have a solid, very low-sized public health. [7:53] Let's say it's for immigrants. [7:54] Let's say it's for free Palestine. [7:56] [CHEERING AND APPLAUSE] [7:58] [CHEERING AND APPLAUSE] [8:05] [LAUGHTER] [8:10] Yeah, I hope, like I said, if you're feeling down, [8:13] if you feel like everything is fucked up, just remember, [8:16] you have a lot of other people out there that agree with you, [8:21] that feel the exact same way that you do, and not only that, [8:25] but also there are plenty of potential allies that you can convince. [8:29] So, that's something that you always have to maintain. [8:32] You have to keep being stubborn, and you should never, ever, [8:37] succumb to nihilism. [8:40] If you can't maintain revolutionary optimism, [8:43] just do it out of spite, because all of the most in red-looking [8:49] losers fucking out these out there want you shut the fuck up. [8:53] They want you to sit idly by and coward in fear, [8:57] like the jubilee-- [8:59] [LAUGHTER] [9:01] If you want an image, if you want an image that just invokes [9:04] blood, curly anger in you-- [9:06] well, think about that fat Nazi. [9:08] We're talking about an empty house. [9:10] I'm like, oh, you're the first! [9:11] You're a little Franco. [9:13] The more that I remember a piece of shit like that exists, [9:17] I'm like, fuck that. [9:18] I'm revitalized. [9:20] I'm re-energized. [9:21] I'm ready to fucking go. [9:22] [CHEERING AND APPLAUSE] [9:25] Thank you, Tyler. [9:26] Thank you, Taylor. [9:27] Thank you for all that night. [9:29] [CHEERING AND APPLAUSE] [9:31] Thank you. [9:32] [CHEERING AND APPLAUSE] [9:33] Thank you. [9:34] [CHEERING AND APPLAUSE] [9:35] My son. [9:36] I can tell you it's just a standing seat. [9:38] [CHEERING AND APPLAUSE] [9:39] My son is wicked there. [9:40] OK. [9:41] You good? [9:42] [CHEERING AND APPLAUSE] [9:43] They said I have to say I'm dead, [9:45] but all move away so they're good. [9:47] [CHEERING AND APPLAUSE] [9:48] Happy birthday to you! [9:51] [CHEERING AND APPLAUSE] [9:52] Not yet! [9:53] Not yet! [9:54] [CHEERING AND APPLAUSE] [9:55] [CHEERING AND APPLAUSE] [9:57] Josh, this ain't not yet. [9:59] [CHEERING AND APPLAUSE]
