[0:07] This is the fundamental difference. [0:09] This is what needs to change. [0:12] The Democrats appear to have no counter to the system Democrats missed the next [0:15] generation [0:15] of media says Brandon Gann, quote, co-founder of influencer marketing agency. [0:19] I know him, uh, creator authority historically, they own Hollywood, but this [0:22] next generation [0:22] influence is digital and they've miscalculated that. [0:25] I don't think they feel comfortable in arenas where they lack control. [0:28] I guess that's it. [0:29] The entire article from Taylor Lorenz, fantastic article, uh, fantastic article [0:36] , um, obviously, [0:40] uh, current affairs had a complimentary piece on this as well. [0:43] This explains this also explains why some of the most popular progressive [0:46] content critters [0:46] refused to ever cover Gaza. [0:48] This is from current affairs, a separate piece that came out that we read a [0:52] while back. [0:53] The decision to avoid Palestine by democratic aligned media seems to be [0:56] deliberate and [0:57] it goes beyond Midas touch. [0:58] Midas touch is part of a broader universe of content critters that are aligned [1:01] with the [1:01] democratic party, including Brian Tyler Cohen, David Pakman, among others, [1:05] notably last [1:06] March, according to a source of the events, Pakman attended a private off the [1:08] record meeting [1:09] with Kamala Harris on the day of the Joe Biden state of the union address [1:12] during the trip [1:13] he met with Cohen, the Meisles brothers and dozens of other so-called [1:16] independent progressive [1:18] media figures in an internal email. [1:20] Pakman later told the staff that the content critters of the White House had [1:22] talked among [1:22] themselves and everyone admitted that they deliberately avoided producing Gaza [1:26] coverage [1:26] in order to prevent controversy. [1:28] One could argue that this is probably a big reason why these particular [1:30] influences were [1:31] invited to the White House in the first place. [1:33] Pakman, for his part, has previously asserted that Israel would never waste [1:36] ordinance on [1:37] Palestinian civilians that he views Congressman Richie Torres, who is perhaps [1:40] best known for [1:41] being one of APAC's top recipients of funding, APAC's biggest attack dog, which [1:45] we will be [1:45] watching on the Adam Friedland show later, Richie Torres, as the kind of person [1:50] who he [1:50] would like to see lead the progressive movement. [1:59] Karen Affairs also reported on the campaign, Harris campaign coordinators, i.e. [2:04] indirect [2:05] payments to influencers through the agency, special appearance from Cohen and [2:08] there too. [2:09] The New York Times has reported that the Harris campaign spent $2.5 million on [2:12] three digital [2:13] agencies that work with online influencers, and it appears that the influencer [2:16] in this [2:16] video may have been one of them. [2:21] They were just fucking melting money. [2:29] It's literally all connected 16 30 funds, future forwards, which funded [2:32] progressive victory. [2:34] It's a lib circle jerk. [2:39] They literally came to a consensus on the face. [2:52] They avoid talking about one of the worst made man made disaster of our time. [2:57] Yeah. [2:59] Their idea of controversy was acknowledging the 30 plus polls showing she [3:03] needed to stop [3:04] the genocide to win, by the way. [3:05] Here are 34 polls that show a ceasefire and weapons embargo to help Kamala [3:09] Harris win. [3:09] This was on the 21st of September, 2024. [3:11] It was a compilation of 34 different polls that showed that this issue would be [3:15] a mover [3:16] in a shaker. [3:17] And this is just the tip of the iceberg. [3:18] I talked about this quite a bit because not every single person was as invested [3:22] in Gaza [3:23] as others were, right? [3:25] They could recognize right from wrong that kind of animosity towards Israel [3:28] didn't expand [3:29] overnight, of course, that led to like the Zoron victory, for example, that [3:34] didn't happen [3:34] overnight. [3:35] That was already there in the lead up to the election, even though it was being [3:38] actively [3:38] sheltered, it was actively being pushed aside by top level Democrats and the [3:43] establishment [3:44] for obvious reasons because they wanted to continue the, the maximum genocide [3:48] that the, [3:49] the Joe Biden administration was doing now. [3:54] Having said that, the reason why I say this is the tip of the iceberg is [3:58] because this [3:59] was emblematic of the problem of the Democratic party's inability to address [4:02] real issues that [4:03] their fucking voters were experiencing. [4:06] This was just one of those issues. [4:07] It was a very big one, as Donna has, it goes correctly pointed out. [4:11] How can you expect the Democrats to save democracy when they won't even stop a [4:15] genocide? [4:15] How can you expect a party that will turn a blind eye to a genocide that they [4:19] are contributing [4:19] to to actually not turn a blind eye to the democracy, the democratic process [4:23] falling apart? [4:24] And he was right. [4:34] This is why it is mind boggling to me that there are still people who are [4:37] actively either [4:38] deluded by these other content creators that are getting paid by the Democratic [4:42] party to, [4:43] to actively advocate for the Democratic party's inevitable demise or the, the [4:47] death of American [4:48] democracy as it stands, the theoretical democracy that we are supposed to [4:52] ostensibly defend [4:53] here. [4:54] And one of those examples, I'm going to use two examples here, okay, which is [4:58] this one, [4:59] this guy sneer review, we are so cooked, it's not even funny, I said, who then [5:03] quote retweeted [5:04] me to say, bomb, bomb, bomb La Harris, to which I responded with 22 months into [5:09] the Gaza [5:10] Holocaust and pro-Israel lives still try to act as though the Dems didn't throw [5:13] the election [5:14] by pivoting right, refusing to listen to the anger people had about numerous [5:17] issues, including [5:18] the genocide and losing yet again to an incompetent fascist. [5:23] They are diluting themselves, they are fucking diluting themselves. [5:30] They're actively and deliberately diluting themselves. [5:33] They don't want to listen to the truth. [5:35] They don't want to listen to reason. [5:36] They don't want to make a proper analysis as to why they lost a otherwise winn [5:41] able election [5:42] is tough, but it was winnable. [5:45] Every election is. [6:01] It blows my mind that people still try to do this shit, especially when third [6:07] party voters, [6:08] if every single third party voter turned around and voted for Kamala Harris, [6:11] Kamala Harris [6:12] still would have lost the election. [6:14] So there isn't even like votes that you could have secured from the fucking [6:18] margins there. [6:19] So constantly fucking yelling about the left being a spoiler in this election [6:25] is idiotic. [6:26] It's just not true. [6:27] There is no amount of left commentary from myself and every other fucking left [6:31] this commentator [6:33] on the planet, right or wrong, by the way, doesn't matter if our criticisms are [6:35] right [6:36] or wrong, but there's no amount of criticism that we could present that could [6:40] outflank [6:41] the multi-billion dollar messaging campaign that Kamala Harris blew up with [6:46] shitty message. [6:51] And it's so indicative of their lack of interest in actually solving some of [6:56] the problems [6:57] that currently persist, whether it be Trump's active bouldering towards fascism [7:03] , for example, [7:05] then actively fighting against a guy who is trying to do his very best to [7:08] combat the administration. [7:10] If you're a fucking liberal, you should actually run around and say, I'm so [7:15] sorry, I was wrong, [7:17] you were fucking right. [7:18] Now I'm going to stand side by side with you because you already correctly [7:21] called this [7:21] shit out. [7:22] And even if you don't have to do that because you don't, you don't have to do [7:27] that, obviously. [7:29] Even if you don't do that and you don't have to do that, the least you could do [7:32] is shut [7:32] the fuck up and not try to consistently say this wrong thing that makes you [7:38] feel good [7:39] as though you did your very best and now you're tired, now you can sign off. [7:44] As people are getting black bagged and kidnapped, you can just sit on the [7:47] sidelines and yell [7:48] about the left. [7:49] If only the left voted for Kamala, this would not be happening. [7:53] It's so stupid. [8:03] It's also simple. [8:04] The problem is simple. [8:06] Republicans run away from their base, they despise their base. [8:09] Republicans run towards their base. [8:11] They fear their base. [8:13] That's it. [8:15] That's it. [8:16] Democrats actively try to convince their base that the things that they are [8:22] demanding are [8:23] actually bad and they should suck at the fuck up and vote for them anyway. [8:28] Republicans don't do that. [8:29] Republicans will find active issues that have grassroots backing, no matter how [8:33] insane [8:34] it is, like QAnon, and will find a way to make that a part of their platform, [8:42] okay? [8:43] They do that. [8:46] The greatest version of someone behaving like this is Zoram Mamdoni. [8:50] He went out there. [8:51] He asked people what their fucking problems were and he said, "I'm going to [8:54] solve them." [8:55] There it is. [8:56] You don't have to be a card-carrying communist to be able to do this, okay? [9:01] You just have to listen to people. [9:02] You just have to listen to their demands. [9:04] You just have to listen to what they want, okay? [9:21] I try my very best not the fucking fight with Democrats at this moment, but [9:25] they make [9:25] it so goddamn hard when they just like put the cross-airs on someone like [9:29] myself instead [9:30] of, instead of actively fighting in unison against the Trump administration and [9:36] also [9:37] maybe taking a cold, hard look at why they lost, okay? [9:51] It blows my mind. [9:52] It's just so fucking frustrating because this is, this is just a demonstration [9:58] of this person's [9:59] lack of interest in fixing any of these problems. [10:02] He just wants to appear right and he knows he's wrong, okay? [10:06] He knows he's wrong. [10:07] He knows he was wrong. [10:09] He wants to be pro-Israel and he wants to still present himself as a [10:12] progressive, even [10:13] though Israel's doing a genocide and the walls are closing in, so he just like [10:16] actively tries [10:17] to attack someone who was correct from the start, someone who was doing a lot [10:21] more than [10:22] he is in terms of trying to fucking fight against the Trump administration.
